The 'Easy Access Collection' is an exciting development for us, as for the first time we're able to offer quality-assured holiday rental accommodation that is ideal for families or individuals holidaying with people with disabilities or who have to use a wheelchair.
Whilst the properties initially featured are not fully-adapted or specifically set up for disabilities, they do have excellent wheelchair access, both within the property itself and the complex in which they're located.
We’ve taken great care to evaluate the properties according to their 'disabled friendliness'.
Detailed fact sheets about each property are available to download from our website giving precise measurements of doorways, bedrooms and bathrooms so guests know exactly what to expect before they book, guaranteeing that when they arrive for their holiday, they'll find their accommodation exactly as described on our website.
We’re also working in close partnership with the leading mobility supplier on the Coast, 'Mobility Abroad', so we can provide wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and other mobility products for hire throughout our guests’ visits.
Booking one of the 'Easy Access Collection' properties is simple, because our online booking system allows travel clients and travel partners to check availability 'live' online, then book direct without having to call to confirm.

Take the DIY approach to more rental bookings
Taking a DIY approach to marketing your own holiday rental property can be a highly effective way to complement the marketing activities we undertake on your behalf.
Owners that have already done so say it’s an effective and relatively inexpensive way to significantly increase holiday rental bookings.
As you’re no doubt already aware, here at HomeCareontheWeb, we direct a considerable amount of our marketing resources towards providing as many opportunities as possible for our rental owners to maximise their property’s rental income potential.

We work hard to maintain our website www.holidayrentalontheweb.com in a position in which it attracts over 750,000 visitors each year all seeking information about rental accommodation on the Costa del Sol.

Our partnerships with ABTA Travel Agents and selected Tour Operators throughout the UK and Ireland have proved fruitful during the summer 2008 season, with many of these companies now booking holiday rental accommodation for their clients directly via us.

DIY Internet advertising
The easiest way to do promote your property on a large scale is via the Internet, typically by placing your own advertising on one or more high-profile holiday rental accommodation specialist websites normally aimed at owners direct.
Owners that have taken this approach tell us it can be a great way to increase holiday rental bookings.
That’s all well and good, but like many owners, your first reaction might be – well, how on earth do I know which site to advertise on, and do I really need the hassle of dealing with bookings myself?
Let’s address the ‘which website to advertise on’ issue first.
Our Owners who already promote their own property independently on other websites have been kind enough to let us know which have proved most successful for them. Our own marketing department regularly evaluates various holiday rental accommodation websites for their effectiveness too.
So, here’s our list, in no particular order, of some effective websites to advertise on, as recommended by your fellow Owners and ourselves:

Some of these websites, such as EyeOnSpain.com let you advertise for free, whilst others will charge you for their services – normally an upfront one-off fee for six months or a year’s worth of advertising.
All the sites allow you to upload descriptions of your property, along with photos and contact details, which brings us neatly on to the issue of handling the bookings you generate.
DIY marketing with the full back-up of our holiday rental services

Anyone interested in renting your property can then contact us directly and we’ll manage the entire bookings process for you at our normal commission rate – everything from dealing with the initial enquiries, making bookings and collecting payment, to transferring the rental fees into your bank account at the end of the period.
Of course, all your rental guests will be cared for by us during their stay, exactly as they would be if the booking came directly through us; in fact we will:.
- ‘Meet and greet’ them on arrival
- Deliver the keys to them
- Take care of the cleaning and laundry
- And offer them our 24/7 telephone ‘helpline’ for emergencies.
But if you’d prefer to handle the bookings yourself, that’s fine by us too.
Simply include your own contact details on your ads, and then once you have a confirmed booking - and this is very important - please make sure to update the bookings calendar in your Owner’s Area of our website so we can take care of your guests throughout their stay.
Any ‘meet or greets’, airport pickups, or welcome packs required on their arrival, would be charged to you at the normal rate shown in our Price List.
DIY ‘offline’ advertising
Other good sources of holiday rental bookings can be friends, family, work colleagues and neighbours.
From the feedback we’ve had from our Owners, advertising around your local area in newspapers, or putting a notice in a newsagent's window can also be an effective way to generate holiday rentals.
If you didn’t know already, your Owner’s Area of our website has a clever facility which lets you easily print off your property’s ‘Rental Page’ exactly as it appears on our website, which you can then e-mail to friends and family, or display on notice boards at work, or your golf or tennis club, etc.
Again, you have the option of putting your own contact details, or ours so we can handle everything for you.
